Author Gabriel Ravel changes the game of thriller novels in his genre-bending initial foray into commercial fiction. Throughout his eclectic life (musician, banker, IT expert, corporate exec, even hypnotist), Ravel had successfully managed to bury his stories in a secret drawer, that is… until today. Fluent in English, French and Spanish, he is always seeking out new opportunities and thrills, such as sky diving in the Caribbean, hand gliding in Brazil or bungee jumping in Mexico. Based in Montreal, Ravel is a seasoned traveler who uses his unique life experiences to draw inspiration for his fictional work.

Author Background

Born in Quebec City, Canada, Gabriel Ravel is one of those restless creative souls who want to do and try everything. When he was hardly four years old, he was an exceptional reader for his age; at eleven, he was lead guitarist and singer in a band, and right around thirteen, an amateur stage hypnotist! Clearly, he has a big belly for creative zest.

Gabriel is a multifaceted man: musician, salesman, accountant, artist manager, corporate exec and now, fiction writer. Gabriel has a taste for doing things differently. Never has he hesitated to bite into life headfirst or to risk it all. Like a cliché, he dropped out of high school when he realized his aspirations lay elsewhere. His goal was to explore the planet and discover its numerous cultures and possibilities. Not the one to shy away from challenges, he has always believed in hard work, and he is the true definition of a self-made man, an inspiration for those who are afraid to speak their mind and live their life the way they want.

It was in the dynamic computer industry that he found his course. He is now the proud owner of his own software company with Fortune 500-type clients spread throughout the world. But, until now, he had kept to himself his fiction stories.

Gabriel may sound like he is all about the business world, but he also has an adventurous side to himself as well. You can find Gabriel scuba diving or sky diving in the Caribbean, bungee jumping in Mexico or hand gliding in Rio de Janeiro.

Not everyone can put their thoughts into words in a way that captivates the reader, but one of Gabriel’s hidden talents includes writing everything in a soulful manner that makes the reader lose track of time once they start reading his work.

If you want to know more about his journey and adventures, you can see a glimpse of his life in every book he writes.

Fluent in English, French and Spanish, Gabriel is a seasoned traveler constantly in search of new experiences and challenges. He lives in Montreal, enjoying just as much spending time in his other favorite cities: Paris and Puerto Vallarta.
